In 2018 the ERPW developed equine therapy under the tutelage of Mrs. Madeline Stander and her horse, Rolo. The advantages of horse therapy for our beneficiaries are important. Equine therapy is a complementary therapy that stimulates the entire body. Regardless of the patient’s age when riding a horse, it increases his/her self- esteem and enjoyment of the experience. The patient, regardless of age, when on top of the horse increases their self-esteem, enjoys the therapy and when accompanied by a combination of other therapies (music, massage therapy, coordination, sensory therapy, psychotherapy, etc.) during the riding period it increases the patient's rehabilitation.
We started building the stable, enclosed the camp, erected the arena and welcomed Rolo to the Workshop.
